Today (28 May 2025), Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, spoke about the clash between Thai and Cambodian soldiers at Chong Bok, Ubon Ratchathani Province, saying that there was nothing to the matter. Initial findings showed that both sides had entered the claimed area, and since it was dark, the clash occurred by accident. He emphasized that there was no intention to go up and fight.
